Maintained direction and management of the loss mitigation department which consisted of 12 exempt employees including supervisors, portfolio managers and 40-60 loss mitigation agents and team leads. The portfolio consisted of first lien, second lien and HELOC loans, HAMP eligible portfolios both GSE and non-GSE securities and investor wholly-owned product.

Extremely proficient and knowledgeable in all areas of default management, especially with high risk, litigated and mediated assets. I maintained responsibility of the legal negotiations using my experience and knowledge of foreclosure, bankruptcy and REO management while communicating with in-house legal, outside counsel and appearing telephonically and in-person for mediation and litigated matters for the company. I had final decision-making responsibilities in all but the most extraordinary circumstances.

Lead communications with the investor, legal, outside counsel and default areas for the resolution of the portfolio. Often communicated and worked inter-departmentally through all areas of default, including REO, foreclosure and bankruptcy. Responsible for the daily production of the investor wholly-owned portfolios and direct communication with investors, counsel and default departments to negotiate and resolve non-performing assets.
