WORK SUMMARY

Currently I have 33 years of construction experience on diverse construction projects which includes over 12 years of construction management. I have a solid work ethic and a drive to work towards more complex projects with increasing responsibilities and greater challenges to further my professional experience.

Prior to my construction management experience I worked for 20 years in the skilled trades on heavy industrial, oilfield facilities, oil pipelines, power generation plants, transmission and distribution power lines, communications, and C.A.T.V. construction, including 6 years as a General Superintendent.

My training and work experiences in the skilled construction trades along with my professional construction management training and experiences have given me unique construction knowledge.

10/10 to Present AMES, INC/HEERY International-J/V. Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico

Contractor Quality Control Systems Manager and Site Safety & Health Officer

Duties/Scope: CQCSM/SSHO for 2 Design/Build projects managed by USACE/NAVFAC for the Naval Operations Support Center of Puerto Rico. Renovation of 5 buildings in a former DOD school located on Fort Buchanan to create a new home for the NOSC due to the BRAC 05 closure of other Naval Facilities on the Island. Asbestos and Lead survey and abatement, demolition, roof replacements, gutted buildings out and replaced with all new materials and finishes. Construct addition of a 15,000 square foot Drill Hall and parking area, a LEED Project. Asbestos and Lead survey and abatement, demolition of 6 existing buildings, earthwork, and exterior improvements to provide space for new Drill Hall. I conducted and documented Quality Control Field Inspections for All Disciplines. Contract Value: ~12 Million.

11/07 to 10/10 NORCON, INC. Fort Greely/Delta Junction, Alaska

Quality Control Electrical Inspector

Duties/Scope: Conducted and documented Quality Control Field Inspections of all Electrical, Communications, and Controls, including Duct Bank and Utilidor installed systems for the Fort Greely, Alaska Power Plant Ballistic Missile Defense System Program. A Boeing managed Design/Build construction project with Black & Veatch Designers, 8a Native Corporation TDX Power as the Contractor and United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Oversight. Construct HEMP-shielded permanent power plant and power plant fuel storage facility to support the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Program, Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) in the Missile Defense Complex (MDC) at Fort Greely, Alaska as authorized by the Missile Defense Agency. The fully deployed configuration available from five (5) 1825 kW prime rated Caterpillar diesel engine-generators as an available 8 MW standby power source for the Missile Field and Essential Support Systems. Contract Value: ~ 95 Million.

11/05 to 10/07 GCI Communication, Inc. Southeast Alaska

Project Manager/Quality Assurance

Duties/Scope: SEAFAST project in southeast Alaska constructing submersible and terrestrial fiber optic cable. Provide project management structure, estimating, procurement, logistics, subcontracting and permitting. Conduct remote site visits planning landing sites and cable routes to analyze feasibility for final design, coordinated acquisition with land attorneys on legalities for right of way access or property purchase and engineering firms on survey and property plats. Work with Local Fisherman and Environmental groups to address their concerns and Federal, State and Local government agencies on their permitting processes. Work with the local utilities for right of way and pole line access and engineering for make ready requirements, pole calculations and managed contractors on all installation requirements. Quality Assurance to ensure GCI was getting what they were paying for. This project provided faster, more reliable voice and data transmission to the communities of Juneau, Hawk Inlet (Greens Creek Mine), Angoon, Sitka, Petersburg, Wrangell, Ketchikan and surrounding areas via submerged and terrestrial fiber optic cable. This project was designed to get GCI into the Telecommunications Business. Contract Value: ~ 60 Million.

01/03 to 11/05 UNIT/SKW-LLC and UNIT Company Fort Greely/Delta Junction & Anchorage, Alaska

• Contractor Quality Control Systems Manager (CQCSM)-UNIT/SKW LLC

Duties/Scope: USACE Contract; Managed the Quality Control Department for the Fort Greely Ground-Based Ballistic Missile Defense Project in Delta Junction for the construction of 3 buildings one of which was Design/Build, Missile Field roads and fencing. I had 4 Quality Control Representatives under my supervision as well as inspecting and documenting ongoing and completed work of all Electrical, Communications, and Controls, including Duct Bank and Utilidor installed systems. Coordinated and commissioned all systems for these facilities along with subcontractors and government agencies. Contract value: ~ $50 Million.

• Project Manager/Quality Control Manager-UNIT Company

Duties/Scope: Project and Quality Control Manager/Inspector for the Service High School Renewal Project Phase 2A. I conducted and documented Quality Control Field Inspections for All Disciplines.

Contract value: ~ $12 Million.

• Quality Control Systems Manager (CQCSM)-UNIT/SKW LLC

Duties/Scope: USACE Contract; Managed the Quality Control Department for the “Test Bed” Fort Greely Ground-Based Ballistic Missile Defense Project in Delta Junction. We constructed 4 buildings under separate contracts to Fluor Alaska, Inc for USACE and Boeing as the Prime. I had 4 Quality Control Representatives under my supervision as well as inspecting and documenting ongoing and completed work of all Electrical, Communications, and Controls, including Duct Bank and Utilidor installed systems. Coordinated and commissioned all systems for these facilities along with subcontractors and government agencies. Contract value: ~ $42 Million.

03/00 to 01/03 Wolverine Supply, Inc. Wasilla, Alaska

Project Engineer

Duties/Scope: Field Engineer duties for Houston High School Construction. Including, but not limited to Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Material Take-Offs and Procurement, Submittals, and Designer/Subcontractor/Supplier Coordination, commissioning, field inspections and documentation for all disciplines, reporting work progress and schedule updates to the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Owners representative. Projects: Houston High School new construction-$14 Million; Cordova High School renovation-$7 Million; Eyak Manor Phase 3 renovation-$3 Million.

I managed 4 crews of 4 Union Line Clearance Tree Trimmers each on contract work for Chugach Electric Association clearing electrical power transmission and distribution right of ways. Emphasis on the Safety of the Men under my Supervision and Quality of the work was priority. I interpreted as-built drawings, estimated time and materials, scheduled work, customer relations, tracked costs, prepared man-hour and equipment reports. Directed crew to utilize the safest, most efficient and cost effective clearing techniques.
