2. BHEL THERMAL POWER PLANT, ANPARA,PARADEEP working as a safety officer from July 2011 to till now on contract basis.

COMPANY PROFILE:

1. SHREE MAHESHWAR HYDEL POWER CORPORATION LIMITED is a Hydropower generation company its project site is located about 90 Km. from Indore on the basin of river Narmada, the project is expected to be generating 400 MW (40X10MW) powers. I have been working for client SMHPCL with M/S SEW Infrastructures as our Civil Contractor and BHEL as our contractor for Electromechanical Works, Delhi based C.E.S is our Consultant for entire project.

2. M/S UPVNL is stabling 250 MW thermal power project in Anpara, UP is located about 200 K.M from Varanasi.M/S BHEL is EPC contractor of site,there are 14 contractors companies(M/S GAMMON INDIA LTD,LANCO,B&R,PCP INTERNATIONAL,SIMPLEX,ERA etc) are working in excution of projects under BHEL. I have been working as a safety officer in BHEL(ON CONTRACT BASIS)

JOB PROFIL IN SMHPCL

SAFETY IMPLEMENTATION IN:

• Planning site activities as per project requirement with related safety issues at works.

• Preparing and chasing work schedule in line to safety standard

• Monitoring contractors work resources, follow up contractor for scheduled procurement and delivery of material, Verifying material with BOM-Additional responsibility

• Checking drawings/documents submitted by contractor with contract safety specifications prior to sending for approval to consultant

• Initiating new task, study and implementing training program at site.

• Working at site as a part of team, monitoring safety & quality of work, Instruct/suggest for rectification in work technically if required.

• Inspecting contractors work as per Field Quality Plan and safety standard with cross checking the same with technical particulars

• Writing letters, preparing Safety related Note, raising enquiries, cost estimation and indenting safety items required for the site

• Working as a coordinator between two or more agencies at site

• Editing drawings as per site requirement Follow up for drawings/documents, written and verbal communication with contractor and consultant, maintaining record of drawings and documents

DETAILS OF WORK EXECUTED IN ADDITION TO MY SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:

• Station layout and Balance of Plant (Turbine and mechanical auxiliaries: Station layout for all equipment, Engineering approval on QAP, drawings of turbine and governing system , erection of Turbine, Governing system, cooling water, fire fighting, Drainage and dewatering system, Instrumentation.

• HVAC, DG System for 400 MW Power House :

Safety in Civil construction coordination, Engineering works etc.

• Generator Assembling: Complete Rotor Building, Pole fixing, Assembling of Stator - pole to pole connections and Testing at site.

• Commissioning:

Dry commissioning of Turbine and governing system, drainage and dewatering system, cooling water system, Co2 firefighting system.

• Embedment powerhouse/: Co-ordination with Civil for necessary EM embedment in Power House such as Air vent and scroll case emptying pipes, DT Drain pipe, Pipes and cutouts in turbine pit as per drawing
