Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Fire Protection Campus Coordinator

Responsible for the EHS and Physical Security programs for the manufacturing, research and development operations at three Dallas area locations. Managed the Chemical Warehouse operations and personnel at each location. Responsibilities included compliance to regulatory and corporate standards, as well as implementation and maintenance of programs supporting compliance in these areas. Maintained internal budget centers of $1.5M annually, and managed a staff of up to 20 with two direct reports.

• Consolidated operational standards, practices and procedures for EHS, FP and Physical Security at all three locations.

• Maintained continuous improvement on corporate EHS, Security and Fire Protection audit status yearly.

• Responsible for chemical ordering, distribution and data entering throughout the facility.

• Point of contact for all regulatory EHS, Security and Fire Protection audits with continued improvement in all areas. (OSHA, TCEQ, EPA,DCMA, Local Fire Department, City of Garland, City of Dallas, TDH and FM Global Risk Assessments Group)

• Responsible for approvals/denials of all new chemicals and/or processes to be introduced into the manufacturing operations.

• Responsible for approvals/denials of all company work instructions as related to Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Fire Protection.

• Eliminated the use of hazardous materials methylene chloride, tritium 232 and thorium fluoride in manufacturing processes without negatively impacting production operations.

• Workers Compensation Administrator for all three locations. Responsible for accident investigations, corrective actions and return to work programs. Point of contact with third party workers comp insurance carrier (ESIS), Doctors, Lawyers and Corporate Worker Compensation Administrator. Filed all regulatory and corporate required paperwork, maintained OSHA 300 Logs.

• Responsible for hazardous materials and waste to include classification and manifest approvals for shipping off site for disposal through third party vendor (DOT certified training), filing Annual Waste Summary, Waste Minimization planning and reporting, Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) compliance and reporting.

• Oversaw Tier 2 reporting, air permit compliance and reporting, Industrial Waste Water permit compliance and reporting, Storm Water permit compliance and reporting.

• Conducted training for all onsite employees in the areas of EHS, Fire Protection and Physical Security. Completed OSHA 501 Trainer course at Red Rock Community College, Lakewood, CO.

• Conducted internal audits to assess work station configurations to improve on ergonomics and to assure compliance with environmental and safety policies and procedures.

• Responsible for maintaining Material Safety Data Sheet files with continual monitoring and updating.

• Maintained compliance with regulatory agencies via regulatory permits that included two clean water act permits and several CAA permit by rule requirements at the three locations.

• Responsible for “Military Weapons Program” compliance and reporting. Direct Responsible Party (DRP) under”Warrior Systems Division” Federal Fire Arms License.
