PROJECTS:

• Page turning mechanism for the Disable.

This project involves a simple four bar mechanism, which helps a disable person(one with no arms) to turn the pages of a book by his leg.

• A project on alternative fuel.

We tried to run an engine by using acetylene, as a fuel. The aim of this project is to create an effective atmosphere for acetylene so that it can be used as a fuel.

• Manufacturing of hand injection mould.

Aim of this project is to get a working experience in workshop and to know the various material removal processes. It also includes 3D modeling, drafting and CNC programming.

EXPERIENCE:

• Assisted a faculty in catia and solidworks during my CAD/CAM course.

• Trainee Engineer in IMECO LTD, Kharagpur.

My work include studying the various tasks carried out by the company. The company deals in air preheater, discharge electrode, fabrication and seats of railway coaches. I had an experience on cold forming process employed to sheetmetal.

• A case study on spun pipe industries.

It includes studying the various processes involve in the production of these pipes, inspection procedure, machinery, safety of the employees. Visualizing the problems and suggesting some solution for their problems.

• A paper presentation on alternative energy.

It includes various sources of energy other then fossil fuel. The process involve in their extraction and control.
