“Knowledge Based System”

Description:

Our project is basically a chatting-bot which will answer the queries related to our college system. This chatting-bot is computer program designed to simulate an intelligent conversation with one or more human users via auditory or textual methods. This bot can be useful in any company to help their employees, hospital to help the patients for enquiry and not require wait for enquiry counter to open.

Roles and Responsibilities:

I was a part of team containing three members including me which provide add-on tool to the Sage 300 ERP (earlier Sage Accpac ERP) software used by SME. Add-ons tool in which I have worked on are TDS (Tax deduction at source), Document numbering, GreyMatrix (Apparel software) and Trading Excise.

• Main role of mine is to perform R&D on the Web portal tool i.e. SWT (Sage Web Toolkit) created by Sage on bases of GWT (Google Web Toolkit) to create web based portal for Add-ons division.

• Worked on SData (Sage Data) which is the tool for creating interface between database and user interface which required to work on XML

• Programming done in C and C++ which contain main business logic as per customization required by client in the existing product.

• Taking care of Sales, Application Support and Customization of the Add-on team by proper communication with clients and Resellers partners.

• Created TDS Software web base portal using Sage web toolkit and Sage Development kit for developer provided by Sage.

• Done customization of Reports as per client requirement in Invoice generated by company for sales order.
