Neoplastica is an international high barrier rigid film manufacturer. My responsibilities include marketing rigid and semi-rigid high barrier films to National and International food processors that package meat and other food related products. Additional sales responsibilities included marketing lidding film products that were targeted at these same food processors.
• Added $1.5mm in high barrier Lid stock business for Maple Leaf Foods in Canada. This new business was combined with our existing Rigid Film business for pasta processing. The new business opportunity assisted in launching other film products to Maple Leaf that included high barrier meat packaging films and high barrier rigid films for sandwich processing. Both of these opportunities are expected to add $2.0mm in sales for 2007.
Customers include Maple Leaf Foods, Nestle, Citterio Pasta, Printpack and Coty beauty products.
Carroll Mfg & Sales, Avon Lake, Ohio

PRODUCT MANAGER
Carroll Mfg & Sales is a major converter of flexible packaging films used for in major food processing facilities.
Responsible for Product development and N. American Sales of high barrier materials marketed direct to end-users and distributor based sales organizations. This includes profit and loss responsibility for two primary product lines sold to food and medical processors. My duties include procurement of highly engineered films with additional responsibility for training inside and outside sales associates for the marketing of these products to the specialty-packaging marketplace. This included three direct reports in manufacturing and inside sales associates. Customers include US Foodservice and many of the top ten meat processors in N. America. This position worked within a GMP and approved Dairy Certification environment.
• Set up national distribution program for shipping stock pouches throughout N. America. This streamlined the internal order processing and contributed to a 30% increase in profit for this product line.
• Reconfigured production levels of high barrier pouches to increase profit by 10%. This also lowered our requirements to maintain higher levels of excess inventory for converting these products. This lowered cost enabled Carroll to retain this major customer when up against aggressive offshore competition.
Customers include US Foodservice, Freshmark, Fairmount Foods and Chef Francisco.

Midwest Territory- FIBC Division
Intertape is a leading producer of packaging films, tapes and various other packaging products with 2,200 employees and annual sales exceeding $800 million dollars. The FIBC division is $28 million in sales.
Hired to develop and manage a Midwest sales territory that included end-user sales and training of key distributors in the Midwest. I was responsible for the largest customer in this division at $3 million dollars per year. Major customers included ADM, NewlyWeds Foods, Cargill, Morton Salt, Nova Chemical, Dow Chemical, Bayer Chemical, PPG, Sun Chemical, Apollo Colors, Dairy Farmers of America and Brewster Cheese.
Selected Results:
• Negotiated multi-year contracts with ADM and Nova Chemical, which added $3,500,000.00 in new business for 2005 through 2007.
• Increased territory sales by 130% in 2004.
• Increased territory sales by 120% in 2003
Uniplast Films, Palmer, MA

Uniplast Films was a leading extruder of flexible films marketed to converters and laminators with sales
of $30 million dollars.
Developed all sales activities in a three-state area for major converters of flexible packaging films used to protect and ship food related products. Marketed and developed a coextruded barrier film for sheet molded compounds.
Selected Results:
• Increased territory sales by 140% in 1999 by opening new barrier film’s market.
• Developed coextruded film used to package water-activated tablets that added $350,000.00 of new revenue for 1997-1999.

Armin Plastics is a division of TYCO International. Armin is one of the largest extruders of flexible packaging films in N. America with sales of $800 million dollars.
Responsible for marketing packaging films to major pet food processors, printers and food processors in Pennsylvania. This included working with National Account Manager to develop and test these products into national account customers. Customers included RR Donnelley & Sons, Alpo Petfood, Heinz, Coca Cola and Armstrong World Industries.
Selected Results:
• Expanded the company’s shrink films business into major pet food processors that added $1 million dollars of new business per year from 1990 to 1996.
• Developed and tested custom shrink films for approval at RR Donnelley & Sons and Quebecor
• Printing that added sales of $3 million dollars per year.
