Personal Statement:

I am an outgoing and dedicated individual who strives to succeed in all aspects of life. Although I have many years of practice and experience in the food service industry I love to learn and challenge myself in any situation. I get along well with others and can work as a team player but I am also sufficient on my own. Most importantly I am a people person I have the ability to strike a conversation with just about anyone. Work Experience:

Waitress (Aug 2009 – Jun 20010)

The D.W. Diner, Merrimack, NH

*My responsibilities required for this job ranged from greeting and seating customers to maintaining the cleanliness and inventory of an extremely busy diner. I was also responsible for keeping my own bank and taking and entering customers orders into a Micros system computer. With the high customer turn over rate and number of repeat customers my ability to multi-task and handle high stress situations improved greatly.

Front of House Manager/ Waitress (Apr 2009 – Aug 2009)

Travers the Village Eatery, Goffstown, NH

*My duties and responsibilities while working at Travers included all salad and dessert preparation, all stocking, and cleaning tasks for the dinning room, and keeping track of inventory needed from day to day. I was also responsible for all phone messages, customer complaints, and the signing of certain business checks. Being the only manager and waitress throughout the day made my food service abilities excel and I developed excellent management and leadership skills.

Cocktail/ Dining Room Server (Apr 2008 – Mar 2009)

TGI Friday’s Front Row, Orlando, FL

*The tasks and responsibilities required at TGI Friday’s included an intense week long training of the restaurant’s menu, computer system, and mixed drink recipes. After finishing my Micros computer skills were exceptional and I memorized all ingredients in all of the menu items. Being so comfortable and familiar with the food and drink menu helped me communicate extremely well to my customers. I was also able to suggest and up sell menu items with ease. As I strived in my new serving position I was offered to work private parties and conventions which improved my server abilities and customer service skills tremendously.

Dining Room Server/ Catering Server (Sept 2007 – Apr 2008)

Elisha’s Restaurant, Milford, NH

*My duties and responsibilities while working at Elisha's included all cold food preparation: vegetables, salads, desserts, and expo line. I was also required to learn a new computer system which I became very comfortable with quickly. Along with taking and putting food and drink orders into the computer system I was also required to recommend certain wines and alcoholic drinks to compliment a particular meal item. The customer base at Elisha's ranged from young children to senior citizens who improved my communication skills greatly.
