Work Experience

Customer Information Specialist; AT&T Inc. Chicago, Il 4/1989-4/2010

Focused on the value of AT&T customers by assisting them with the information that they needed. Worked in a call center where I handled 1,000 calls a day. Worked as a supervisor when needed. I had to help make sure that calls were handled properly. That consisted of handling irate customers and , being able to calm them down. I also had to write out customer complaints, and . give credit when needed. Coached coworkwers who were not up to speed and helped them ,reach their goal that was set by the company.. I also made sure that all shifts were covered, that included changing breaks and lunches when needed. I also helped to ensure that AT&T remained on top in a competitive market, by selling their products and services. I gave suggestions during monthly meetings on how to enhance our production. I also helped to increase our shareowners value and helped achieve double digit earnings growth annually.

Dietary Aide; Mercy Hospital, Chicago, Il 4/1987- 5/1991

Prepared food for patients and also for the cafeteria.Prepared special meals for functions that included doctors and their guest. I also assisted in serving on the tray line to make sure all patients received the proper food items for their meals. Answered telephones and took order for new patients diet. Tallied patients menus and prepared special tube feedings. All other duties that were asked of me.
