As a Category Demand Planner/Buyer, my focus is on planning, concentrating on both supply and demand while incorporating all aspects of supply chain management. I summarized and validated stock and custom golf club shipments, monitored stock and custom forecast, open customer orders, raw material inventory, custom shortages and open order supply (purchase orders) and plan and executed the procurement of components and finished goods for Titleist golf club products.
• Analyzed the ratios of total shipments to forecast verses open orders to recommend new purchase orders based on 30-60-90 days of supply based strategically on the product life cycle of each product model’s forecast line.
• Supervised 40 Scotty Cameron putter forecast lines, 20 Vokey wedge forecast lines, 30 Vokey finished good club forecast lines, 80 custom Vokey WedgeWorks wedges, 1000 Titleist custom shafts and 300 non-forecasted exotic shafts.
• Performed product launch responsibilities including the design and development of the bill of material (BOM) details for assigned product lines and approved the product market mix for each custom offering.
• Completed over 80 Titleist Cameron stock putter launches, 30 Titleist Cameron custom putter launches, and 15 custom WedgeWorks launches, and 60 Titleist marketing material launches.
• Supervised forecasting components and finished goods demand to 31 Acushnet suppliers and identified excess inventory levels in order to monitor and decrease obsolescence costs.
• Analyzed data to quantify anticipated incremental sales from new production launches and non-forecasted demand.
• Managed inventory levels and safety stock for items consumed by assembly through replenishment process and vendor managed programs.
• Responsible for the execution of new price negotiations, request for quotations (RFQ) and bid award recommendation programs which included distribution of component specifications in order to obtain the most competitive landed costs, freight mix ratios and improve the raw material standard cost development process.
• Controlled the activation and inactivation of all raw components, finished good sku’s, ancillary items, marketing materials and operating supply part numbers, as a result of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX)requirements.
• Facilitated and assisted with Information Systems testing and development of new processes to support all testing scenarios, tasks and agendas for implementation of Acushnet Global Systems, M3 and WM programs for worldwide roll out in late 2012.
Planner/Buyer October 2006 – June 2011
As the role of a Planner/Buyer, the focus was material supply and inventory availability.
• Managed the procurement of components and finished goods for Titleist and Cobra golf club product forecast lines prior to the sale of Cobra Golf in 2010.
• Oversaw the purchasing of components and finished good for 40 Cobra Baffler utility clubs forecast lines, 60 Cobra accessories and 1000 Cobra custom shafts.
• Facilitated procurement and material transfers in Cobra Golf acquisition to Puma Golf.
• Analyzed Acushnet golf club ancillary standards and presented recommendations to executive management.
• Functioned as Planning Data Analyst back-up by executing the demand planning and monthly forecast of the production plan load responsibilities in PeopleSoft ERP System in addition to the custom and stock PBOM load processes.
• Supported the enhancement of the PeopleSoft ERP System, PeopleSoft Planning and WM, as well as the configuration, testing and implementation tasks.

• Managed finished good purchases for 15 Cobra putter forecast lines, raw component planning and procurement for 20 Titleist Scotty Cameron putter forecast lines and 2000 Titleist and Cobra custom shafts.
• Authored a cost benefit analysis of bringing an outside finishing process of the Studio Select domestic putters in-house equating to an annual cost savings of $327,857 and assisted with internal implementation process.
Production Control Assistant April 2004 – August 2004
• Completed daily analysis of custom club production orders, work in process, releasing of exotic club orders, and analyzing component availability.
