Work History
Cashier, Wal-Mart 2006
My responsibilities as a cashier was to scan merchandise and bag it. I also handled cash, credit cards, shopping cards, and check. When I wasn’t assisting customers I was making sure my area was clean. If there was any merchandise that the customers didn’t want I would have to take it where it needed to go whenever I would take a break or lunch. At the end of my shift I would get all bills, coins, WIC checks, checks, and coupons together and drop off in cash office.
Resident Manager, Bonner County Homeless Task Force 2002-2003
My job as a resident manager involved helping the residents with transportation to appointments, shopping, and any where else they needed to go. I also listened to their problems and got things they needed. Another part of my job was to clean the houses or apartments and get them ready for the next resident(s). On a regular basis we would get donations and so I would help pick those up and sort through them. I would from time to time assist my husband on some of the handy work; light fixtures, electrical, hanging drapes, painting, yard work, and etc.
Cocktail Server, Kootenai River Inn and Casino 2002
I served drinks to the customers on the casino floor. I had to from time to time make the drinks. It was also my job to keep the liquor stocked. I had to add and subtract American and Canadian money in my head. At the end of my shift I had to add up my money.
Cashier, Chevron 1999
My job was to help customers with purchases, keep store clean and authorize the pumps. At the end of my shift I had to add up my register.
Crew Member, McDonalds 1999 and 1995
I worked front counter, which involved taking orders, handing out food, and take money. I also worked on drive-thru doing the same as front counter. I had to keep the lobby clean and wash dishes.
