Qualifications

I have been bartending for a little over four years. I have had mixology courses along with flair bartending classes. I currently have both my sheriffs card and Nevada state gaming card.

Education

I attended Carson High School and graduated with a diploma.

Relevant Experience

I started my career in bartending at the Carson Nugget in 2006 and worked for them for a little over a year, both on the casino floor and in the night club upstairs called club Vu which was a flair bar. From there I went on to work at Chili’s restaurant for about four months, at which time I got a call from the food and beverage manager at the nugget and he asked if I would be interested in working at the new bar the owners had obtained. I worked for them again at Doppelgangers from August 2007 until August of 2010. I also worked at other bars that the owners have owned including Katie’s bar for about five months. While there I also helped run it for them. I also worked for them at another bar they own called toads bar for a little over a year, and last of all I worked for them at their Minden location Doppelgangers for about six months. I know my way around a bar very well from the ground up. I can do just about anything that is called for from stocking up to networking the cash registers together.

Other Experience

I worked at petsmart when I was 15 years old for about six months. While I worked there I was a stocker and I worked in the specialty department, which is taking care of all the animals in the store. From there I worked at the local boys and girls club for a little while. I was a counselor there and took care of the kids. From then on I did odd jobs for people such as fixing computers and setting up networks for people until I went on to becoming a bartender.
