SUMMARY:
I’m a results-driven, articulate and analytical Electrical Engineer who can think “outside the box” and a self-motivated person, strong in problem solving and teamwork skills. I’m interested in a challenging technical track career in an application development environment.
EXPERIENCE:
Cirrus Logic
July 2010 – Present
Microcircuit Test/Troubleshoot: Cirrus Logic is recognized worldwide as a leading supplier of signal processing components for audio and energy applications. As part of the Test/Troubleshooting group inside Cirrus Logic clean room some of my responsibilities are:
Testing and troubleshooting of production linear and Pulse-Width Modulated amplifiers.
Analysis of amplifier circuits applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, electrical testing and using other engineering abilities (proficiency reading schematics and assembly drawings as well as using Oscilloscopes, I-V Curve Tracer, Function Generators and Power Supplies).
Provide solutions to Hybrid Circuits at the transistor level.
Performs data review, in order to provide troubleshooting, identify cause and corrective action in order to solve technical production problems.
Run prototype testing.
Solve manufacturing problems using engineering skills, analyzing the problem and making experimental changes to parts.
Assist in the review of pre-prototypes: schematic, layout, manufacture and costs level.
Sunrise Engineering and Design Inc.
August 2009 – February 2010
Engineering / Production Intern: Sunrise is involved with design and manufacturing of microphone preamplifiers used in professional audio production. Responsibilities at Sunrise:
Testing of design phase PCB’s using circuit theory techniques (employing knowledge of analog and digital circuits and components: Operational-amplifiers, bipolar transistors and FET’s) and circuit analysis laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, function generators and data acquisition tools).
Troubleshooting and analysis of circuit schematics.
Verifying of component performance and specifications, assembly of PCB’s, and assisting with product manufacturability enhancements.
Creation and renovation of assembly and test instructions for product reliability.
Testing of final preamplifiers performance and compliance with specifications.
St. Clair Technologies Inc.: Innovative Solutions for Electrical Systems
June 2008 – May 2009
Product/Design Engineering Intern: St. Clair Technologies produces wire harness for the Automotive, Military, RV, Bus, and Marine markets, vehicle lighting and panel assemblies. Duties at St. Clair:
Design and drafting of custom wire harness schematics using AutoCAD, based on production specifications.
Translation of customers’ ideas and design into a real AutoCAD product design for manufacturing purposes, guided and bounded by component specifications, factory manufacturing terminology and processes.
University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ
August 2007 – May 2008
Undergraduate Lab Assistant:
Profitably assisted students with the construction of circuits (voltage/current meters, transistor amplifiers, difference amplifiers and AC circuits), to reinforce circuit analysis techniques required as part of the university undergraduate Electrical Engineering program.
Pima Community College, Tucson, AZ
June 2005 – May 2007
Online Math Tutoring
Favorably assisted students with the explanation and solutions to math problems.
AWARDS and PROJECTS:
UA International Student Scholarship Award
Senior Design Project: Photovoltaic Energy System for Remote Applications
• Strongly accomplished the design and construction of a system consisting of three different solar panels with the ability to measure, analyze and compare the solar panels.
