Cost-benefit analysis; maintain PC and peripheral devices

Experienced in operating honing machine, lathe and soldering

EXPERIENCE

R&L Engineering Consultants: Albany, GA 6/08 to 1/09

Assistant Project Engineer

Major Project Accomplishments:

Biomass to Bio-fuel Conversion: Created finite element analysis capable, animated, three dimensional model and two dimensional drawing package of the biomass converter using Alibre. Assisted senior engineers with thermodynamic and chemical modeling of the conversion process to enhance machine efficiency. Used thermodynamic modeling to suggest sensor placement to make adjustments for bio-mass feed rates and burn temperatures,

Generator Install Model: Created three dimensional model of layout for cost benefit and process flow analysis.

Marine Corp Logistics Base: Albany, GA 5/04 to 6/07

Maintenance Engineering Co-op, 6- semesters

Major Project Accomplishments:

HWMVV Egress Trainer: Created finite element analysis and animation ready three dimensional model of HWMVV egress trainer in Solid Works. The three dimensional model and two dimensional associated drawing package included the frame and flat paneling of the egress trainer support structure as well as the mechanism for rotating the HWMVV.

Honing Machine Technical Manual: Was embedded in machine shop to be instructed on the proper use of honing machine, lapping machine, and lathe. Learned to safely and properly hone steering blocks and other similar mechanical components. The process learned was then used to create a Department of Navy compliant technical manual.

Air Force Tunner Rework Acquisition: Was responsible for determining the Maintenance Center’s capability to handle the acquisition of the Air Force Tunner. The determination was made based on process flow impact the acquisition would have on the main floor as well as in the back shops.

Maintenance Department Penn State Research Liaison: Represented the Maintenance Department Engineering group in several joint projects involving the Penn State research department. Evaluated the method used and validity of research regarding the process flow analysis of the Maintenance Center and corrosion testing of various suggested coatings.
