Business Systems Analyst

Supported the integration of Flextronics Semiconductors inventory manufacturing system (Camstar’s MESA) into AMI Semiconductors inventory manufacturing system (SAP).

Became the super user for AMI Semiconductors SAP R/3 Financial & Logistics Production System.

Took the leadership role to provide SAP training for the different manufacturing business units. Using the Lotus Notes database, created an SAP User training guide.

Monitor incoming inventory data from vendors work in process and ship reports into SAP’s database.

Analyze and correct problems as needed. Record progress and distribute reports and metrics to Production Planners and Managers.

Support Logistics with incoming shipment transactions and inventory cycle counts. Reconcile discrepancies as needed.

Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

System Support Specialist

Responsible for the data integrity, installation of application changes, system saves, recoveries, archiving, and setting up security profiles for the inventory tracking system, Camstar’s MESA (Manufacturing Execution System Application).

Created and maintained fab processes, operations, and products. This included maintaining yields and cycle time data.

Created new Plants on the MESA system for the integration of recently acquired companies. This involved working with the managers and supervisors to get an understanding of their supply chain, and to learn what data information needed to be collected. When a final plan was agreed upon, I would set up the MESA processes, operations, and products.

Set up user defined and SPC fields to collect important manufacturing data.

Trained all new employees on MESA. Created training manuals.

Created manufacturing reports using AS/400 Query.

Downloaded data into excel spreadsheets, and emailed to requester.

Maintained the IBM ISERIES AS/400, which included installing operating system upgrades, program temporary fixes, setting up users and assigning special authorities.

Installed Client Access software on new users systems.

Using IBM’s Lotus Notes, supported the implementation and maintenance of the company website. Created and maintained the Obsolete Product database, and other databases per user’s requests.
