• Managed and achieved desired results for 400+ data center, telecom, IT facilities and networking projects.

• Orchestrated large-scale telecommunication IP network design and facility deployment initiatives in addition to managing re-occurring engineering portfolios for enterprise and municipal customers (wireless, voice, data applications), including Google, Earthlink, AT&T, NASA, Fiber Tower, Frontier Communications, Alvarion, Sudden Link Communications, Business Information Group, Tropos Networks, City and County of San Francisco, and City of San Jose.

• Completed in less than seven months a $12M, federally mandated conversion of analog-to-digital television for all of Verizon’s video head-end, data center facilities nationwide, including two super head-ends, successfully converting content to IP architecture. Provided engineering and designs for each individual video plant (in sync with local and national broadcasters and content providers), procured all equipment, and conducted installation and system testing at 13 nationwide facilities.

• Deployed a team of 30+ technicians and systems engineers and 2 tower maintenance firms to 2,200+ cell sites in California and Nevada to conduct a technical and performance audit of newly acquired infrastructure for T-Mobile.

• Spearheaded new-site and facility development during a period of national growth for Metrocall Wireless.

• Spearheaded several simultaneous operations, facility and network engineering projects, encompassing IP systems; video-on-demand network architecture, design, and deployment; digital content delivery network architecture, design, and deployment; IP routing and switching subsystems; interactive media guide expansions and network management; emergency alert system network architecture, design, and deployment; broadcaster content processing infrastructure expansions; and global data center, storage, and server farm infrastructure expansions and general IT facility modifications.

Program Manager, Advanced Wireless Communications – NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA 2006-2008

Defined project scope of work (customer expectations), deployed project teams and deliverables, allocated company and departmental resources, and monitored budgets and purchasing. Forged and maintained business, subcontractor, and vendor relationships. Facilitated the engineering design lifecycle from inception to delivery. • Managed full turnkey systems design and deployment of multiple municipal and enterprise level wireless, voice and data networks; clients included Google, NASA, Frontier Communications and numerous city municipalities.

• Deployed emergency response telecommunication infrastructure for first responders during scheduled emergency preparedness exercises in support of federal training exercises at NASA Ames Research Center.

• Maintained SLAs with the WiFi networks of Google (Mountain View) and Earthlink (Milpitas).

• Managed the development and deployment of municipal wireless networks.
