Accomplishments:
This role was created to bring the organization and field offices up to Y2K compliance. This included the specification, approval and construction of a new robust corporate data center. Microsoft SMS was deployed to managed software versioning and compliance. Directed comprehensive software licensing inventory driving negotiations for license reconciliation and agreements for multiyear, multi site license compliance.
As part of the organization’s formalization process proper use and asset policies were created. Disparate phone companies were compiled into a cost favored contract with AT&T for voice and network services. This included networking previously disparate locations.

The SAP Technical environment consisted of Microsoft NT Application Servers and IBM RS/6000 R30 AIX Oracle database servers. Complimentary products in the SAP environment were Dazel for output management, Sterling Gentran for EDI, and Mercury for performance modeling. This environment was certified by SAP and IBM and was used by IBM in promotional marketing material.

This included interconnecting Aspect and Intecom ACDs with customer sites most notably Microsoft via T3 direct connections. Negotiated zero cost server and client software from Novel for entire enterprise valued in excess of one million dollars.
