Sr. System Tester / Test Lead / QA Auditor

Responsible for all aspects of S/W test planning, execution, and reporting activities for assigned projects, in an Agile environment. Prepared/produced QA documents (forms, metrics, interview questionnaires, etc.) and conducted periodic organizational QA Audits. Main duties and responsibilities:

• Analyze stakeholder requirements and software requirements

• Define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery

Research & Development Engineer

Led R&D, installations and consultancy projects for automation, transportation and telecommunication industries. The most important projects I coordinated:

• team leader of fellow engineers in research and design projects of industrial automation and telecommunication equipment (PCB and electronic hardware design, prototypes and their implementation in specific applications)

• created and executed test plans and procedures requested by the homologation process of these prototypes (determined the reliability of the devices at different temperature and humidity conditions, electrical stress, etc.)

• prepared technical documentation, working and testing instructions, in accordance with Romanian standards and regulations, for small-scale manufacturing activities for these products

• designed an Automated Driving System for subway trains, successfully implemented in Bucharest subway system. The new system was produced/tested in the Institute’s laboratories and then tested with success on a subway train, in Bucharest

• designed Electronic Protection Devices for energetic industry, monitoring and controlling the main parameters related to the electricity generators. After successfully tested in the Institute’s laboratories, installed them in three Hydro plants

• designed, experimented and produced an Automated Protection System for streetcars, applied by Iasi Public Transportation Company

• designed, tested and produced a Data Acquisition System for textile factories, installed in a manufacturing facility, which proved to be very helpful in optimizing the process flow

• frequently used CAD applications and standardization systems for all these projects
