Back Ground Summary:
Over 23 years of extensive hands on EPC experience in the oil, gas and power generation business in all aspects including marketing and sales, cost development, project development, project management, plant design / engineering, plant construction and operations. The last 16 years has been in executive operations management role responsible for a P/L up to $680 million in revenue and operations.
International business relationships and travel experience since 1988 and have traveled and worked in over 22 countries. References available upon request.
2011 – Current – CCD Consulting LLC – President / Owner
Providing consulting services to existing clients for proposal development, contract reviews, technical reviews, site evaluations, equipment specifications and equipment inspections. Developed business and technical documents based on the clients requirements for roll out of new business line or new product line. This would include financial forecast, budgets, flow charts, timelines and operational procedures.
2008-2011 – ProEnergy EPC Services – Director of Projects
ProEnergy EPC Services was a new division added to the ProEnergy Company. I was one of 4 key people involved in the initial division start-up. Duties included sales and business development, proposal development, oversight of all engineering sub-contractors and project managers. Responsible for negotiating major equipment procurement, partner agreements and sub-contract agreements. Was a key member of the business development team to negotiate and finalize all contracts. The division had negotiated and closed contracts approximately $680M USD of EPC power projects in just over 3 years.
2002 – 2008 – Wood Group Power Solutions (WGPS) – Vice President – Operations
WGPS was a start-up company in 2002 with backing from John Wood Inc. based in Aberdeen, Scotland. I was one of 4 key people involved in the initial company start-up. Duties included sales and business development, overall company operations and oversight of EPC turnkey power projects, including financials and corporate reporting as required. Maintain client relations from project development and negotiation through to project close-out. I was responsible the division P/L with annual revenue of $340 million.
1999-2002 – Encompass Power Services Inc. – Vice President – Operations
Encompass Inc. acquired Engineering Design Group Inc in 1999. As part of the acquisition Encompass Power Services was formed. I was one of 3 key people involved in the development of this new division. I was responsible for the oversight of sales and business development and proposal development. Responsible for corporate reporting including operating budget, forecast, sales and P/L.
1995-1999 – Engineering Design Group Inc. – Director – System Support Group
The System Support Group was a financial stand alone business unit developed under EDG Inc. to support the oil, gas and power generation operation and maintenance. Developed and establish many business and operation procedures within this division that were implemented corporate wide. I was responsible for the overall operations of the business unit, including sales, financials and daily operations. I negotiated all major contracts and vendor agreements. This division maintained the best profit margin of any EDG division and had a 90% repeat in client sales. Contracts were with private and government entities.
1988- 1995 – Engineering Design Group Inc. – Project Manager
Responsible for coordination of EPC turnkey projects in the power generation, oil and gas and large SCADA controls both domestic and international. This responsibility included involvement of final contract negations with clients, project oversight, overall project financials, coordination of engineering; project schedule, sub-contractors, start-up and project close out. Projects ranged in value of $2.2 Million to just over $60 Million.
1984 – 1988 – President/Owner – Custom Build Of Texas Inc. (CBT)
General Contracting business catering to residential, commercial and light industrial. Due to down turn in the economy and cancellation of numerous construction projects in Oklahoma and Texas, was forced to close business.
