Practice Areas and Experience

Primary practice emphasis involves all forms of civil litigation, trial and related appellate practice in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Career experience includes extensive practice in multi-party commercial litigation, product liability and construction defense, workers’ compensation defense for an NFL franchise, as well as a broad range of insurance casualty defense and coverage litigation. Practice has also focused on management-side employment litigation involving employment contracts, non-compete agreements, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, ERISA and defense of collective/class action state and federal wage and hour claims.

Substantial jury and bench trial experience in federal courts, as well as state courts of Illinois, Wisconsin and California, provides an immediate capability to step into existing litigation and effectuate prompt results. Experience also includes managing large case loads and supervising attorneys in formulating effective case management and aggressive defense strategies.
