Title: Airborne Sensor Operator
While employed by Neos Geosolutions my main duties included acquiring hyperspectral (ITRES), magnetic (PICO), and gravity(Micro G Lacoste) data from a Twin Otter aircraft. The primary area of operation was in the Neuquen Basin in Argentina for Exxon and Passport. From the data collected it is possible to determine subsurface hot spots of oil and gas. While enrolled as a full-time student, I was called to serve with my unit for 5 months in Balad, Iraq in 2005. During this time I worked single-handedly to insure that my assigned aircraft remained flightworthy. I worked hand-in-hand with the pilots prior to launch performing required inspections. An additional requirement was to maintain alert status to launch the aircraft within 15 minutes notice. Worked End of Runway (EOR) to give jets final inspections and approval prior to take-off.
