Education Background:
•09/2009 – Present Studying for Master degree, Department of Plant Nutrition, College of Resources and Environment, Northwest A&F University
Research subject: “Long – term field Experiment to evaluate sustainability of conservational and conventional cropping systems”.
•09/2005 – 07/2009 Bachelor Degree, College of Resources and Environment, Northwest A&F University
Major curriculum consists of Soil Agro-chemistry Analytical Method, Soil Science, Thematic Cartography and Land Resource Survey etc. My thesis was: “Influence of crop residue returning on crop production and soil fertility maintenance in Guanzhong Plain”.
Work Experiences:
•Teach assistant for the course “Experimental design and statistics methods”, 06/2007
Conducted approximately 90 undergraduate students.
600 soil samples and 60 plant samples were collected.
•Research assistant to Dr. Shaukat Ali Abro, an international PhD student in department of Resources & Environment, 03/2008-09/2009
Planned, implemented incubation experiment.
Conducted three undergraduate students to determine soil micro-biomass and total carbon.
Calculate data by excel, do statistic analysis with SPSS.
•Key member in the executive group of long-term research program to optimize cropping system in Loess Plateau, 06/2009-04/2011
Evaluate fundamental soil and biochar properties, independently.
Crop seeding (Middle 6 Maize, Early 10 Winter wheat) and fertilizer application (consistent with seed), soil and plant sampling (before crop harvest).
Determine soil respiration daily; find the effect of biochar in soil respiration and C sequestration.
•Practice of Land Resource Survey (course), 07/12/2008-07/20/2008
Cooperate with 7 members.
One of the three map makers.
Carry out a survey of land use status by Corel DRAW and Arc-map.
English:
•Passed College English Test Band 6 (CET-6).
•Communicate fluently with the international students of our lab in English.
Self- evaluation
•Hard working and be eager to learn new knowledge, technology and experience.
•Be favorite at basketball for its competition and teamwork spirit, responsibility and honest, making me feel free in organization and communication.
•Ambitious in sustainable and precise agriculture business, willing to participate in more programs with international cooperation.
