I am a mature, cheerful person with enthusiasm for working with people. In the last 10 years I have owned my own building company (JAF Builders Ltd) which has proven to be a successful company. I have also had experience working in management positions and can work under great pressure. I possess the ability to learn things quickly and enjoy challenges. • Renovations from small bathrooms of $10,000 to large total home renovations of $600,000

Employing a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 9 people over the last 12 years of

business. Mainly specialising in new residential housing and alteration work.

Responsible for project management at all jobs, budget management and customer

service. Southern Homes, GJ Gardeners, Champagne developments and Golden

Homes are companies for which I have contracted. Alongside this I have built some

spec homes for myself and private homes for clients.

• Organized and constructed a 42 million dallor satellite tracking station

• Constructed a one of a kind balloon launch facility

The Antarctic Support Associates is the largest scientific research and construction

based corporation in Antarctica. We support over 400 scientists and maintain over 250

structures. During my time with the Antarctic support as Carpenter Shop Forman I

performed to a high professional standard in the following tasks:

• General maintenance of McMurdo Station and outlying field camps

• Construction of new structures

• Large and small renovation projects

• Co-ordinating materials and project management of a team of 19 workers

• Safety of personnel and up keep of safety equipment

• To keep people motivated and enthused with the task at hand
