Renovation and New Construction:

• Project Leader to add a protein production function and labs to an existing 20,000 SF warehouse/office; $11.4 million project. Build out GMP and GLP process areas, including animal area.

• Built out all facilities for a biotech company from 8,000 SF to 200,000 SF, an employee growth from 100 to 480

• Part of key two-person group responsible for all aspects of developing a corporate campus on an 83-acre green field land, partnering with architect and engineers on design specifications.

• Created/developed new designs for GMP and GLP labs and offices for all aspects of biotech/pharmaceutical processes.

• Consulted on the design and construction of the build out of a 17,000 SF subsidiary life science company and responsible for all subsequent renovations of labs and offices.

Safety and Security Systems:

• Set up card access security system to manage seven sites and up to 500 employees.

• Set up and ran EH&S for three years, meeting OSHA requirements.

Telephone Systems: Managed, expanded and updated phone systems. Set up first “voice over IP” phone system.

Scheduled Maintenance for Facilities, Building Equipment and Scientific Equipment:

• Developed process to check and monitor all facility systems.

• Created E-mail “Facility Request” tracking system. Trained technicians to look, listen and compare environments from previous rounds to anticipate problems.

• Developed, implemented and managed facilities and lab/animal equipment maintenance schedules and contracts.
