Helped to establish dual medical office at Turkey Creek’s Tennova West Medical Facility. Pain Specialists: Drs. Bruce Hairston and Igor Smelyansky. Family Medicine Physician: Dr. Manisha Thakur (for whom I worked primarily). Before opening, I was responsible for the décor of the patient waiting area and purchase of administrative supplies. After opening, worked front desk, checking patients in and out, answering phones, making appointments, and handling referrals. Made a minimum of 50 telephone cold calls per day to Physicians to recruit them for available TeamHealth independent contractor positions in Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Anesthesiology. Contacts were primarily cold-calls; however, responses were made to “warm market” after Providers submitted CVs to online physician databases.

As necessary, contacted Providers by email or fax, providing them with information about available openings and obtaining pertinent information for review by Senior Recruiters.

Answered incoming calls from Providers who sought information about available positions. Identified jobs that matched Providers’ skill sets and desires, and introduced them to appropriate Senior Recruiters for further action.
