Summary

‘APDRP ‘Accelerated Power Development and Reform Program by Indian Government. This project is an enhancement and IT application for the power sector in Karnataka.WAMS- deals with the works carried out and the assets in the power sector.

The WAMS module in the project provides,

Database for creation and maintenance of assets.

Creation and execution for the work orders.

Calculating the cost for work order and connection details.

Generating the reports on various criteria.

Integrated positioning of the assets in the State.

Data interchange between Customer Service and Meter details.

WAMS tool was used for customizing the requirement.

Responsibilities

Customizing the WAMS Forms as per the Client requirements.

Customizing the forms in oracle 10g form builder to trigger at various scenarios to perform various actions.

Creating of various reports according to the requirements in Reports builder Oracle 10g.

Integrating with custom webservices developed in .NET framework using java.Handling .wsdl files.

Creation of integration with Customer Care and Meter Data management.

Calculation of estimated costs and send it across to Customer Side corresponding to Work Orders.

Grooming team members on technical skills and Functional Side.

Functional/Technical KT for the client side.
