Quality Engineer

Customer : Ashok Leyland, Eicher Motors, M&M, Tata Motors, Piaggio Vehicles Private Ltd,

Responsibility:

• Responsible for preparing and reviewing quality plans for incoming, in-process & final inspection.

• Responsible for Product Test Room, Test equipment and testing activities.

• To develop quality systems for Supplier quality improvement.

• Control the documents, data & records as appropriate for the QA activities.

• To identify & control the N/C tested products by suitable tags keeping them in defined area.

• To Carry out the Salt spray / Endurance / Load – stroke efficiency/ plating thickness/hardness and elongation test as appropriate to the product.

• To maintain concerned Quality Records / Documents systematically with the proper identification & traceability.

• To monitor the corrective & preventive actions when non-conformities in tests occur.

Responsibility incoming inspector:

• To inspect all the incoming components / raw materials as per the product document (Drawing, List Raw Material Specifications etc.)

• To identify the components with appropriate inspection & test status.

• To identify, record & initiate the corrective actions for any non-conformity in product, process, & system.

• To identify & control the incoming N/C product by keeping in designated area.

• To raise the Defect report on the supplier in case of non-conformity observed and to follow up with the supplier for the Corrective & Preventive actions to close the non-conformity loop.

• To monitor the corrective & preventive actions against incoming nonconformity for effectiveness.

• To maintain concerned Quality Records / Documents systematically with the proper identification & traceability.

Responsibility line inspector:

• To carry out the stage inspection of all the processes (Coiling, Extrusion& Module) as per the product document (Drawing, etc.)

• To identify the components with appropriate inspection & test status.

• To identify, record & initiate the corrective actions for any Non-conformity in product, process, & system.

• To inform the Incoming Inspector incase of defects observed in brought out items during line inspection & follow up with the incoming inspector for Corrective & Preventive actions from the supplier.

• To ensure the Calibration of measuring & monitoring instruments & gauges.

• To maintain concerned Quality Records / Documents systematically with the proper identification & traceability.

Responsibility final inspector:

• To inspect all the finished cables as per the product document (Drawing, Inspection Report etc.)

• To identify the components with appropriate inspection & test status.

• To control the N/C product by keeping in designated area.

• To record & analyze the customer returned goods/components (Line rejection& Warranty rejection from the customer).
