Undergone training on Fundamentals of Telecom, OSS/BSS Fundamentals, Datacom Fundamentals & IP Routing, Quick Test Professional tool, TCL/TK, UNIX, Perl and Shell scripting and Software Testing methodologies and concepts.

Project Description : This project involves to calculate and design the control and instruments list that are needed for an 500MW boilers

Role : Graduate Apprentice

Experience : 5 months

My responsibilities include

Identification of list of instruments needed for an 500MW boiler with reference to the Project Proposal document.

This is followed by designing the outline of where the instruments have to be placed with reference to the duct and floor diagrams that are available for the boilers.

Following this an list of items are prepared and with proper specifications and sent to the design team for approval.

Documenting the list prepared and sending for approval across various departments.

Level3 Communications (LEVEL 3 CTI TESTING)

Project Description : This project involves deactivation and Clearing bandwidth for reuse by freeing up the ports (of optical network elements) in use.

Role : Project Engineer

Experience : 8 months

My responsibilities include

Identification of Network Elements and the associated ports from the design and verification of the same.

This is followed by deactivation of the Communication link (on client request) by logging into the various Network Elements and deleting the cross connects in them.

Following this complete disconnection is done (to free up the bandwidth for reuse on other lines) making sure the end customer hasn't come back requesting for the service.

Maintaining Log for the above process.

Documentation and training for the above process.

Alcatel Lucent (AOS SUSTENANCE)

Project Description : Alcatel provides communications solution to telecommunication carriers, IS and enterprises. The project involves sustenance, automation and testing, of Alcatel’s AOS software based BoP products.

Role : Project Engineer

Experience : 8 months

My responsibilities include

Executed Lesson Learned Problem Report for L2 & L3.

PR Automation for 6x builds, and preparing Test plans for the same.

Had worked on 6x LLPR script automation.

Had handled Regression Security setup (Quality of Service) and have delivered the build with around 97.7% quality with 100% coverage.

Had done an Enhancement - Product testing for Per-port Rate-limiting feature.

Hands-on experience on L2/L3 protocols

Tools used : MATI (Alcatel Proprietary) tool. IXIA Traffic
