Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Project Lead

Working for Pipeline Alternative Trading System (ATS) that enables institutions and brokerage firms to quickly and efficiently trade blocks of NYSE and OTC and foreign exchange securities. Pipeline empowers firms to execute block trades in single executions or Switching Engine to the 3rd party algos. Pipeline maintains a hidden book of large, executable limit orders with strict price time priority. Pipeline facilitates interaction between traders, enabling all real buyers and sellers to find each other anonymously and get trades done while minimizing gaming.

Responsible for the following:

• Participate in business requirements and technical specifications walkthrough and identify target test items to be evaluated by the test effort. Create test scripts and ensure all business needs are addressed.

• Responsible for test data preparation, unit, integration and regression GUI and Server testing upon each build or patch, including CIS (Customer Information System), ARS (Allocation Reporting System). Performed back end testing using SQL queries using Query Analyzer or PUTTY.

• Administered the entire QA testing environment, including upgrading and maintaining application servers and DB, log tracing, configuring test environment and creating strategy for product development and certification; assured test data, scheduled automated / manual test cycles
