Life-long, Multimedia Learning. I stay current in my fields of expertise. Current education is attained via professional journal reading, open courses, career certification programs, internet websites, travel experiences, social networking, public broadcasting services, public and academic library media, participation in seminars, workshops, conferences, conferring with colleagues nationwide, and conducting scholarly research in mass communications, higher education, teaching and learning effectiveness, organizational effectiveness, and other areas of interest. I also pay attention to societal and global trends and issues.
American University, Washington, D.C., Earned Master of Arts degree in Public Communication. Emphasis was on all types of communications with members of the public as individuals, in groups, and as mass audiences. My special emphases were in writing, speaking, media, research, public relations, and school-community relations.
University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Earned Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and minors in history, social science, and music. Received full-tuition choir scholarship and a one-year graduate fellowship. Won “Ms. Alumni” award for fundraising excellence.

CONSULTING EXPERTISE:
Founded and have successfully operated a for-profit professional communications consulting firm and also a non-profit missions ministry. Completed various contract projects for clients in education, medicine, business, politics, government, and religion. Have done a lot of missions work helping people in need. Also, handled administrative services, teaching, and support functions.
Served as Consultant with The College Board, The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, The Minority Biomedical Research Services program, Title III programs, and with several colleges and universities in sharing expertise and conducting program reviews.
Consultant for Agape College, Little Rock, AR 2006-2009. Worked on TRACS accreditation/self-studies and was also assigned to teach reading.

Conducted health information campaigns, planned special events, conferred with the general public and participated in seminars, workshops and conferences regarding prevention of sexually-transmitted diseases.

Performed in one show and assisted with various Theater Productions. Served as House Manager.
