Directional Driller

Objective:

Obtain a Directional Drilling Trainee position and become significant part of the Drilling and Field Operations team with a Directional Drilling Company. Continue my education needed for advancement in today’s oil and gas industry.

Professional Experience and Skills:

• Numerous years of drilling rig experience, while possessing advanced knowledge of rig-up, rig-down and operations at the well site of most Vertical, Horizontal, Downhole Motors, Rotary Steerable, MWD and LWD systems

• Great communication skills both written and verbal, ensures all logs, digital data, and reports are delivered to the customers on time and meet client and company standards

• Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Well Architect, Advantage Solution and Rig Manager Systems

• Strong abilities and background of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• IADC Rig Pass and Well control, H2S Alive, CPR and first aid certifications, fall protection and confined space training, , fork lift and boom lift certified

Attended the Baker Hughes Academy for Directional Drilling, covering current method, calculations and software used in the Surveying and Drilling of Directional and Horizontal wells. Including Wellbore Placement and anti-Collision.

Working Assistant Driller in and around Limestone County on Rig Explorer drilling Oil and Gas Wells on a DSI Cantilever 1000HP mechanical triple / GD 800 triples pumps

June 2010 thru July 2011 -Nabors Well Service, Longview TX

Worked derricks and motors on rig 721 drilling oil and gas wells located in Southeast Texas on a truck mounted 1000hp telescopic double - Varco top drive / National 800 triplex pumps

2000 thru 2003 -Greywolf Drilling Company, Monroe LA

Work Derricks and Drilled on oil and gas wells throughout Northeast and South East Texas. Drilled on a D.S.I. Cantilever 1500hp National AC electric triple / National 10P130 triplex pumps

Worked derricks and drilled on oil and gas wells located in south Texas. Drilled on a Bender telescopic 1000 hp Skytop Brewster mechanical double / Brewster B55 triplex pumps
