DESCRIPTION OF MY DUTIES :-

Preparation of Cross Section & Quantity calculation for each layer of Road (Cutting / Filling Area) in Road Estimator.

Analyzing of Quantity variation during laying.

After joint checking, preparing the Layer sheet as per layer executed and comparison thereof with the Designed Layer sheet data for billing purpose.

To prepare method statement for survey work and keeping all the survey records with proper documentation.

To guide the surveyors about how to improve the survey activities to meet the client’s requirements.

Checking of Instrumental errors and Calibration of Survey accessories and Instruments like regular calibration of Auto Level, Prism rod etc.

Topographical survey for new alignment, Access Road, Junction, Inter-Section Road.

To open the execution front by Total Station Traversing with adjusting the Traverse error, TBM Fixing/ Checking with TBM error adjusting, Traverse Shifting, OGL, Land Topography, Setout alignment of roads with proper curves (like simple, reversal or transition curve), Setting out points for Structural foundation and structures.

Preparation of Survey Plans and Sections, Contour Plans.

Design of Horizontal Alignment & Vertical Alignment as per suit and Site or any reason.

Preparation and checking of sub-contractors bill and quantities.

Monitoring of all survey related works and staff to run the execution work in a smooth manner.

Co-ordinations and attending meeting with client, consultant, project manager and other associate departments.

Preparation / Submissions of Lay out Drawing of Bridges & Culverts and Survey Related Data / Documents.

Liaison with administration for land acquisition, Utility sifting–site clearance uprooting for highway projects

Preparation of Weekly & Monthly Survey Activities, Progress Report and Progress strip chart.

Calculations of Super elevation, Toe line, Profile Corrective Course, Well Shifting, and Tilting & Sinking of Bridges in Auto Cad & Excel.

Preparation of Grid Sheet level for each layer (Subgrade, G.S.B., W.M.M., D.B.M. and B.C.) in Road Construction.
