Masters Thesis

Highway Drainage and Design Algorithm for Hydraulic Ratings of Drainage Inlets

The research aims at quantifying the hydraulic ratings of drainage inlets used in Highways and development of a design algorithm to be incorporated in the Texas Department of Transportation for future use in all design planning and execution activities.

The project involves extensive review of present literature and a series of simulated experiments on which the design methodology will be based.

Client: Texas Department of Transportation.
