Present Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Reporting to the CEO, responsible for all BreezePlay Operations, including Product concept and development, installation, material procurement, component and system manufacturing, system functionality, customer relations and support, and trouble reporting and resolution. Complete P&L responsibility and HR responsibility for all employees and subcontractors. We developed the Energy Management System product from concept to operating system and deployed it to BETA and PILOT customers in North and South Carolina. 2003 DuPONT/INVISTA – Wilmington DE and Houston, Tx

2009 Manager of Projects - Reporting to the INVISTA Business Engineering Manager – Projects were in a wide variety of applications both upstream and downstream. Using 3 SOLAR Titan GT and 3 HRSG coupled with two STG and all support and control equipment. Team was responsible and accountable for performance guarantees of net plant heat rate and 39MW output. All engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, and performance testing of a lump sum turnkey contract. Team was 12 engineers, 6 designers, 2 purchasing agents, 1 construction manager, 2 contracts engineers, 1 field admin, 1 start-up manager, 3 start-up engineers and 1 secretary in home office.

2000 ECMT INC - GREENVILLE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT - Greenville SC

2000 Project Management Consultant - Reporting to the Director of Facilities, responsible for developing subcontracts, bidding and awarding subcontracts, and managing new, existing, and retrofit construction activities at locations throughout the District. Assisted the Director in evaluating public safety requirements and implementing solutions for all District Athletic venues. Assisted the Facilities staff in defining and implementing cost-effective solutions to common and frequent project problems. Improved unit efficiency by streamlining the development and approval process of bid documents and work packages.

2000 Project Management Consultant - Reporting to the CEO and V.P of Procurement, responsible for developing subcontract management policies, processes and procedures for worldwide implementation on all CB&I EPC projects. This included securing Operations and Procurement approval of the forms, format and philosophy of execution for consistent and uniform application throughout the company. Conducted training at all 18 worldwide offices for all Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Operations management, on the process and procedures and organized and published these procedures in Lotus Notes on web servers. Conducted project critiques of projects sold at or below margin to improve profitability and maintain plan revenues. 1999 President and Owner - Founded in 1994, a full service provider of Engineering and Construction Management Consulting Services. In the Semiconductor industry we had a group of professionals working with AMD in their Phase 2 install in Austin, TX with particular attention to the Tool hook-up design and construction management. This team would design the install of a tool, receive that tool and escort it through the cleanliness stages, and install that tool in it’s proper location.

Also this company provided consulting services and training to other clients that focused on engineering and construction planning and management for successful and cost effective project execution. Project Director – Project was a grass roots $141M – Combined cycle Co-Gen facility – Project included 2 ABB 11N1 Gas Turbines on dual fuel each with HRSG and both supplying steam to an 85MW ABB steam turbine in a new building, with new cooling tower, water treatment plant, switchyard, switchgear, transformers, buss and fuel oil storage facility. Responsible for the management and execution of the engineering procurement, construction, startup, and performance testing of a lump sum, turnkey contract. This project had liquidated damages for performance and schedule and was completed with substantial savings and on time. Team was 1 engineering manager, 22 engineers, 18 designers, 2 purchasing agents, 2 document control, 2 project control, 1 secretary, 1 construction manager, 1 start-up manager, 3 contracts engineers, 4 start up engineers and 2 field admin.

INDECK ENERGY SERVICES - Olean Energy Center, Olean, NY

Project Director – Project was a grass roots $50M combined cycle Co-Gen facility with a GE frame 6 GT, Zurn HRSG and DR steam turbine. Project was a peak shaver for NIMO. Responsible for the management and execution of the engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and performance testing of a lump sum turnkey contract with considerable liquidated damages. Team included 10 engineers, 8 designers, 1 project controls, 1 admin and 1 document control, 1 purchasing agent, 1 construction manager, and 2 contracts engineers and 1 field admin. This project was completed with a savings and on time.

DUPLIN COUNTY - Cogeneration Facility, Faison, NC

Project Director – Project was a grass roots $65M – simple cycle Co-Gen facility for peak shaving considered by a local cooperative and the railroad. Project proceeded through preliminary design and as abandoned. Responsible for the management of the engineering execution of an EPC lump sum contract. Team included 8 engineers, 8 designers, 5 project controls, 1 document control, and 1 admin, 1 purchasing agent, 1 construction manager, 2 contracts engineers, and 1 field admin.

CRS SIRRINE CORPORATE – Construction Services Division Strategic Plan

Project Director - Responsible for the organization, direction, and execution of the division strategic plan for the Fiscal Years '91-'95. Developed project and division procedures for the execution of turnkey projects. Assisted project managers and managers of projects in specific project procedure development and project audits. Provided management requirements of department budget and financial variables, personnel assignment and reassignment and administration, training programs and cross training, project controls manager development, inter-department coordination, procedures, policies and standards specific to project controls.

CORNING OPTIC FIBER – Core Guide Facility Expansion in Wilmington, NC

Construction Manager – Project was an expansion of existing operating facility that added a new extrusion tower #5 for the manufacture of Core Guide Optic fiber. Responsible for turnkey Construction Management, developed battery limits of work packages, qualified subcontractors, managed the bidding process and managed the procurement and installation of all labor, material and equipment necessary to satisfy the scope of work. Team included 3 contracts engineers, 1 safety engineer, 2 clerks. Coordinated engineering with CM requirements and brought in the project under budget and on time.

GENERAL MILLS ROADRUNNER PROJECT

Construction Manager of a grass roots General Mills cereal facility in Phoenix, AZ. – project was a $180M new facility to bring GM cereal products to the South Eastern US. Cheerios, Luck Charms and other products manufactured.. Responsible for turnkey Construction Management, developed battery limits of work packages, qualified subcontractors, managed the bidding process and managed the procurement and installation of all labor, material and equipment necessary to satisfy the scope of work. Team included 3 contracts engineers, 1 safety engineer, 2 clerks. Coordinated engineering with CM requirements and brought in the project under budget and on time.

EASTMAN KODAK – PSPD Division - Rochester, NY

Engineering Project Controls Manager - $390-MM sensitized film plant for the PSPD division – Project included new facility at the entrance to Kodak Park, to manufacture high quality professional films used by portraiture and modeling photographers. Project included a new building and all black box equipment purchased by Kodak. Responsible to the Engineering Project Manager for the financial control of the Project, and administrative functions including the cost reporting, cost accounting, document control, project policies and procedures, communications, word processing, planning and scheduling, progress reporting, travel services, personal computer management, and purchasing requirements. Team consisted of 5 Planners/Schedulers, 3 Cost Accountants, 1 Estimator, 1 Admin assistant, 2 purchasing agents, 3 secretaries, and 1 clerk. Responsible to direct all personnel assigned to the project administration organizations including planning and scheduling, document control, cost & estimating services, and purchasing. Also responsible for the daily operations and reporting of project financial and administrative services and requirements.

Construction Manager - $60M New Pharmaceutical Research Laboratory – Project was a new facility in the West Point complex that included executive offices, laboratories, animal habitation area, experimental areas, and offices. Included over 2 million lbs of HVAC sheet metal for individual areas to be completely isolated and to minimize contamination. Acting as agents for MSD, I was responsible for the safe execution of all construction activities and management of all subcontractors. Supervised and directed a team of 8 contract engineers and 2 design engineers who managed and controlled all subcontractor installation of labor, material, and equipment on the project. Negotiated all facets of the subcontracts before, during and after contract award. Developed a contracting, work package strategy to maximize cost and schedule value to the client. Project was under budget and on schedule.

GENERAL MOTORS - CPC Division, Wilmington, DE

Contracts Engineer - $200M expansion and retrofit for the new GM “L” Car- Project was a major expansion of 2 million square feet of space to include new body shop and trim and chassis robotics, new AGV system and chain on edge conveyance systems, new Paint shop with AS/RS system and robotics. Responsible for developing battery limits, defining scope of work, selecting qualified bidders, executing the bidding process, awarding, managing, controlling and maintaining subcontracts for the Paint Shop Steel Package, Elevator Package, and Dewatering Package.

GENERAL MOTORS – CPC Division, Wilmington, DE

Project Planner – $200M expansion and retrofit for the new GM “L” Car- Project was a major retrofit of 2 million square feet of space to include new body shop and trim and chassis robotics, new AGV system and chain on edge conveyance systems, new Paint shop with AS/RS system and robotics to meet VOC emissions. Responsible for the development, management and maintenance of an integrated active schedule/cost system implemented on the project. Developed and maintained project master summary schedule, area precedence logic diagrams and the 3-month schedules. Introduced beta version of Primavera P3 and managed project schedule using this new tool. Also acted as engineering/construction liaison with GM and Engineer of record Giffels Associates and Haden Management both in Detroit.

UNION CAMP CORPORATION - Eastover, SC

Area Planner – $650M – grass roots Pulp & Paper Facility – Project included new Pulp and Paper Area, new Power and Recovery Boiler Area and new Wood yard, debarker and rail unloading area. Responsible for the Pulp and Paper area valued at $485M. Developed the plan and sequence of activities, established and maintained the critical path and created all progress reporting for all engineering, construction and procurement activities in this area.

CELANESE CORPORATION - Vernon, TX

Project Planner – $60M - Guar Bean Processing Facility Expansion – Project included new addition to existing grinders, processing reactors, conveyance systems, tanks, holding silos and packaging systems. Responsible to the Project Manager to plan, sequence and report progress for all engineering, construction and procurement activities on the project. I had 1 area Planner and 1 clerk reporting to me directly. Coordinated daily with field supervision, project management, engineering, procurement, and construction management to insure plans were expedited and schedule made. Reported progress using physical % complete by quantity surveying and verification.

A. E. STALEY CORN PRODUCTS – Loudon, TN

Area Planner- $350M – grass roots Corn Processing Facility – Project included new alcohol distillation area, new oil extraction area, new grain silos and transfer area, new sugar refining area, new power house and switch gear, new barge load-out area and all infrastructure. Responsible to the Project Manager to plan, sequence and report progress for all engineering, procurement and construction activities in the alcohol distillation, power, and refining and oil extraction areas. Coordinated daily with field supervision, project management, engineering, procurement, and construction management to insure plans were expedited and schedule made.

BOISE CASCADE CORPORATION. – Rumford, ME

Area Planner- $285M Pulp & Paper Expansion – Project included new high quality coating machine, new paper machine, new recovery boiler and new thermo mechanical pulping process. Responsible to the Project Manager to plan, sequence and report progress for all construction, engineering and procurement activities in the TMP area and the recovery boiler area. Coordinated daily with field supervision, project management, procurement, and construction management to insure plans were expedited and schedule made.
