JOB Responsibility:
One of the Asia biggest plant of UF and RO based recycling plant in refinery sector at IOCL Panipat Refinery. The main highlights of plant and responsibilities are as below;
This plant is treating the refinery treated effluents and recycling back to boilers and for refinery process requirement.
Plant has four stages of treatment like Pretreatment, which consists of clarifier for Removal of Silica, TSS, Iron followed by filtration, second stage of treatment is Ultrafilteration, Third stage of treatment is RO and final polishing unit is Mixed Bed
Plant can treat 900m3/hr and produce 700m3/hr of DM water.
RO has three stages such as RO I, RO II and RO III. Reject of RO I will go to RO III which has sea water membranes and the permeate water from RO I and RO III will be feed to RO II for reducing the TDS. The reject from RO II will be mixed along with the RO feed water.

This plant is treating Sea water to Drinking water.
Plant has three stages of treatment like Pre treatment which consists of clarifier and tube settler of removal of TSS, organic matter, second stage is removal of Ionic Salts. by Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Membrane and the final treatment is maintaining pH, Calcium and free residual chlorine.
