1. Performs the following routine laboratory examinations
a. Complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, blood typing, platelet count
b. Urine analysis
c. Fecal analysis
d. Malarial Smear
e. Serological tests for syphilis ( Rapid Plasma reagain test, Treponema Pallidum Hemagglutination test )
f. Cross- matching, donor screening
2. Performs the following microbiological procedures
a. Examines gram stained smear
b. Examines acid fast stained
c. Culture of specimens collected from in and out-patients of the hospital
d. Process, isolates, identifies Mycobacterium Tuberculosis and Mycobacteria other than tuberculosis (MOTT) this includes Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing.
3. Can perform blood chemistry procedures
