(Gerolymatos Cosmetics S.A. is the distributor of La Prairie, Kanebo,
Shiseido, the P&G Prestige Fragrances Portfolio and other key beauty brands
within the selective and mass market beauty sectors in Greece,with annual
sales of approximately $75 million)
Led the operations of the Consumer Division of Gerolymatos Cosmetics SA,
having full P&L responsibility for annual revenues of $8.8 million.
Developed and directed the implementation of all short, medium and long
term strategies and plans. Guided all new product and new business
development efforts. Evaluated, analyzed and qualified
projects/Investments and negotiated agreements for all new brands and/or
new businesses to be added to the existing portfolio. Identified and
evaluated opportunities for expansion to foreign markets, and selected the

Recruited to direct and implement the setup of the Clairol Professional
Business Unit in Greece. Developed & led the execution of the Go-to-Market
Strategy, in marketing, sales and education. Developed & delivered the
necessary annual strategic & tactical direction according to global
guidelines, having full P&L responsibility for the Value Segment Business
Unit. Participated in the development of the short term strategic plan for
the Value Segment in the Western European region. Member of the Greek

Significant achievements:
. Designed and directed the execution of a very aggressive launch campaign
reaching 450 salons in distribution and $770.000 in turnover in 1st FY of
operation (FY05/06).
. Developed and leveraged strong local marketing initiatives targeting both
the Hairdresser & End Consumer resulting in 100% increase in sales and
25% increase in distribution in FY06/07; Reached 1% market share in the
2nd FY of operations.
. Achieved 13% net sales contribution to total Western European Clairol
Professional business for 3 consecutive FYs utilizing the smallest direct
sales organization structure amongst all Clairol start up operations.

Shelman S.A., Athens, Greece 01/02 - 03/05
Marketing Director
(Shelman S.A. is a leading Greek manufacturer of wood related products for
the construction, shipping, furniture and housing markets, with annual
sales of $200 million)
Recruited to lead and re-engineer the marketing organization of the
company. Participated in the development of the strategic plan of the
company, and coordinated the development and implementation of the annual
marketing plans. Directed ATL and BTL advertising initiatives for key
brands ensuring alignment with the strategic plan and company guidelines,
utilizing a budget of $400.000. Led both long and short term product
development plans, across 9 different production facilities. Directed the
efforts to distribute non-active SKUs and by-products to the appropriate
channels and customers. Managed several operational projects within the
marketing department, as part of a major BPR project of the company.

strategy, transforming the global strategic plan (new product rollouts and

communication materials, and formulated the optimum media plan for the

proposed the pricing strategy for the category; Partnered with the Artistic

the global guidelines and annual marketing plan; Managed all PR and
communication initiatives, and developed all collateral and merchandising
