• Analyze and interpret borrower credit reports, Income/bank statement and other credit documentation required to identify issues and make credit recommendations to strengthen loan structure.

• Interact with the borrower (Know Your Customer), Understand loan applicant’s intentions and ability to repay the loan. Recommend and educate customer about loan and Cross Sell Insurance product.

• Prepare complete loan/credit proposal information package. Underwrite the case with assigned credit limit and forward recommendations exceeding limit as appropriate for the new and existing borrower with Special Lending Authorities and General Lending Authorities.

• Complete timely Reports on Financial analysis and operating credit risk, calculate profitability analysis, preparing approval, legal and other supportive loan document reports.

• Collaborate and develop effective relationship with senior credit analyst, loan officers, relationship managers, customer service and internal and external partners to resolve inquiries and obtain additional information as required.

• Coordinate with Credit Administration to monitor all credit exception reports and maintain portfolio’s compliance with credit guidelines. Ensure timely execution of transactions and compliance with all approval terms and conditions.

• Engage and work on special projects like fraud risk, portfolio analyses, training etc.

• Maintain HSBC internal control standards including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues rose by external regulators.

• Monitor the assigned Risk Portfolio, Renewals, modification or delinquencies on monthly basis. Review delinquent accounts to determine causes.

• Co-ordination with collection department to minimize delinquency rate. The awareness and bounce calling on customer loan payments. Follow up with Non starter, First Presentation Default (FPD) and Second Presentation Default (SPD) customers on the due payments.
