Duties as lad. Assistant responsible for QC weekly eyewash station, weight scales for all protocol as needed and low-temp freezer wheel, -20 wheel and refrigerator temperature logs kept. Processed all blood draws including pharmacokinetic sample and ensured all specified time lines were met under IATA and Hazmat guidelines including Ambient, refrigerated or frozen shipped on dry ice. Obtained body substance for testing may include saliva, sputum, urine and stool. Completed point of care testing protocol (ex; urine, pregnancy test and urinalysis test strip). Complete all related documentation. Ensure that lab area met all CLIA and OSHA requirements. Assisted Clinical Research Coordinator with lab concerns. Ordered supplies as needed from laboratories.
