In charge of hiring, firing, disciplinary actions, and overall production of plant. Advise and assist maintenance department on electrical problems. Involved in safety programs and fulfillment of OHSA requirements. Make up yearly budget and meet that budget. Use principals of lean to increase efficiency in plant.
December, 1997 to May, 2005: Night Shift Supervisor, Cora Coal Terminal, Rockwood, Illinois
Responsible for members of my crew in production, maintenance, electrical and safety. Worked with OSHA and MSHA regulations to assure compliance. Routinely used Allen Bradley PLC.
