Summary

I am the type of individual that believes in performing the task that is put in front of me right the first time. Although I have extensive experience in the piping trade, I am always up for a new challenge in whatever the situation maybe. I work well with others or by myself and pay close attention to safety. Pipefitter (10/2009-11/2009)

DZ Atlantic, Norfolk VA

Progressive Nuclear Station. Removed and replaced piping on the turbine deck. Pipe sizes ranging from 1”socket weld to 12” butt weld. Fabricated and installed new piping according to field measurements and drawings.

Pipefitter (09/2009-10/2009)

Carolina Energy, Rock Hill SC

Cooper Nuclear Station. Removed and replaced piping for the installment of four new hot water feeder units. Used air driven beveling machine and grinders to perform this task. Replaced with new piping, sizes ranging from 1” socket weld to 20” butt weld.

Pipe Foreman (07/2009-9/2009)

RWI Contracting, East Grand Fork MN

Ran crew size of 20 welders and fitters. Oversaw the installment of new piping and equipment. Laid out work to be performed, ordered material, held safety talks and job briefs. Took care of all permits that were required.

Christy Group, El Dorado AR

Involved in the removal and replacement of deleted systems at a refinery. Removed old piping at the closest flange or union. Set new equipment and fabricated new piping in accordance to prints and field measurements.

DZ Atlantic, Norfolk VA

Surry Nuclear Station. Involved in the removal and replacement of four 36” pipes that were located in the condenser unit confined space area. Used a 36” air driven beveling machine to perform this task. Fabricated new spools. Made the fit for the welder to tack up.

Performance Contracting, Chesapeake VA

Responsible for recruiting man power. Made arrangements for physicals. Made reservations at motels. Kept track of all hours that the men worked and handled cash advancements. Made sure that all applications and I-9s were filled out properly.

Kelly Group, Lafayette IN

Had crew size of 10 welders and fitters. Oversaw the installation of circulating pumps, tanks, and new stainless piping ranging in size from 2” to 10”. Held all safety talk, made sure that all fire permits were in place for the job that was being performed. Made sure that all personal wore the proper PPE for that job. Made sure all JSA’s were filled out.

Carolina Energy, Rock Hill SC

Helped to install new piping at a coal fired power house in Auburn NE. Took field measurements fabricated new spool pieces and installed them. Used proper PPE paid close attention to safety.
