Lakehead University - Research technician, post-doctorate fellow June 2011 - present
Research performed under Prof. S.D. Kinrade. Development of the combined methods (QXRD, TG/DSC,
SEM-BSE, NMR) for cementitous materials. Studying effects of the polyol additives, microstructure and
composition on mechanical properties (ASTM C methods). Preparing papers and reports, managing
student’s projects.
United Research & Development Center - Specialist, Key Specialist March 2007 – May 2011
ICP-MS, ICP-AES, AAS, XRF, HPLC, IC, GC (CHNS/O), TLC, AOX/TOX serial and specific measurements using
different sample preparation techniques (ASTM D, IP, EN ISO methods). Ecological monitoring (waste, soil,
waters and oil analysis) and quality control (plastics, fabrics and drugs). Studying of the new methods on
the go, developing new techniques, training personal. Making reports, lab documentation, performing
tests of equipment.
Vernadsky Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry RAS - Research Associate
May 2008 – May 2010
Research performed under Prof. B.Ya. Spivakov. Applications of counter-current chromatography (CCC)
for oil/oil products, elemental/REE analysis. Comparison of standard (ASTM, UOP, ISO) methods with the
combined CCC/ICP-MS and NAA. Preparing of proposals, annual reports, papers and my PhD thesis.
