• Created and then expanded service offerings from traditional triple play voice, video and data services to include VOIP, IPTV and a variety of other IP based services including security and access control, control and monitoring of utilities, control of in-unit services such as HVAC and lighting systems and general building services such as elevators. Managed consolidated Communications Division which included previous messaging responsibility and additional product lines. Charged with re-architecting and consolidating product lines and platforms to tightly target development expense, helping Avaya to obtain and hold #1 market share. Revenues $200M. Budget: $35M. Staff of 460. Staff located in Colorado, California, New Jersey, Canada, and UK.
• Re-architected voice messaging products to deliver unified software platform with unchanged user interface, which greatly increased margins, reduced future time to market, and was seamless to disparate customer bases.
