Objective

My objective is to create the top producing Internet Sales Department in the area. I want to share my experience with any team member that’s willing to learn more about becoming an excellent Internet Sales Consultant. I also would like to be sure that all competition are looking to the store that I’m a part of as the store that they would like to be and/or be a part of.

Qualifications

I have been in the automotive retail business since 1994. I started at Beaman Automotive Group in April of 2001. I was introduced to Internet Sales in 2002 and I became a part of the Internet Department full time in 2003. I remain in the Internet Sales Department until my departure from Beaman in July of 2006 when I accepted an Internet Sales Manager’s position at another location. Since I left Beaman I have completed GM Certification as a Sales Manager and Certified Internet Sales Manager. During my tenure at Beaman as an Internet Sales Consultant we accomplished rankings in the top 100 Internet Sales Departments for 3 consecutive years. I also became an Internet Sales Director with two stores under my authority while employed with Dunn Pontiac Buick GMC/ Gary Mathews of Jackson. I was able to take the Dunn location from averaging 8 sales per month to averaging 25 to 32 a month with gross profit amounts of $40k to $70k per month. I was able to get the Jackson location up from averaging 12 sales per month to averaging 33 per month with gross profit amounts of $60k to $75k per month. For the past year I’ve helped keep the doors open for a dropped GM Franchise store after which we became an Independent dealer. I became the Sales Manager/Internet Sales Manager/Desk Manager at that location, yes I were 3 caps simultaneously. My duties included overseeing the Internet Sales, Desking deals, Overseeing sales personnel, and overseeing our pre-owned inventory (appraising, reconditioning).

Education / Classes

I completed 2 years of post education after graduating from McGavock High School here in Nashville, Tn. I studied Accounting for 2 years at Nashville State Community College. I have completed Certification with Toyota, GM, Ford, Isuzu, Chrysler, and Hyundai throughout my career as an automotive sales professional.

School Clubs / Volunteer Activity

I am a member of the Middle Tennessee YMCA and a former Board member for the Donelson YMCA. I am actively a volunteer for the YMCA from time to time when needed. I’m also a lifetime member of Hart Street Church of Christ in Nashville, Tn. I’m also a Husband, Father, Son, Uncle and a Grand Father.

I have clerical skills that I have obtain from my studies through high school and post education. I have learned to use various computer software applications over the years also.

November 1998 to July 2000 - Anderson/Austin News Co. - Routes Sales Agent distributed Magazines to Grocery Stores throughout Middle Tennessee area from November 1998 to July 2000

July 2000 to April 2001 - Crest Honda - Sales Consultant Represented New Honda and Pre-owned automobiles to prospective buyers from July 2000 to April 2001

April 2001 to June 2006 - Beaman Automotive Group - Internet Sales from August 2002 until July 2006

July 2006 to January 2007 Rocky Williams Premier Pontiac GMC Cadillac, Hyundai - Internet Sales Manager

January 2007 to March 2009 Dunn Pontiac Buick GMC - Internet Sales Director, I also Directed Internet Sales for Gary Mathews of Jackson for the first 7 months during my tenure (Jan. 2007 to July 2007)

April 2009 to June 2010 Team Chevrolet/Smyrna Automotive Group, LLC – Internet/Sales Manager/ Used Car Manager.

June 2010 to Present Automobile Wholesaler.
