WORK EXPERIENCE

2 years 6 month work experience with BSC as a Switch Engineer for Jamshedpur MS

(Managed Services) on behalf of Zephyr sys Pvt Ltd With a first vendor of ZTE INDIA

Pvt. Ltd. Handling the Bss related equipement . Expertise in installation, integration and

commissioning of various telecom network element, maintenance & troubleshooting, network

management users on multiple platforms. Acquired good knowledge Bsc,Bts,itc,Gprs. Well

served with latest telecom technologies.

My Job Contains Following Contents:

1. Implementing, Planning and managing BSC .

2. Support to field team for each and every BSC and BTS activity

3. E1 Testing - Loop Break

4. Managed live plant activities in Bsc equpement and upgradation.

5. Met TTSL (Tata Teleservices)Operator Members and ensured timely resolution of

issues; escalated the unresolved issues to the corporate team.

6. Up-gradation of BTS sites to increase network traffic load Capacity through creation &

deletion of 900-1800 TRXs & cells.

7. Possess functional Knowledge of Software and Hardware systems required for Configuring

and Bts site integration etc.

8. Managing quality control of BTS Cell Sites

9. Weekly Backup copying on Physical media

10. Attending hardware Faults.

11. Provide online support and solution to the intra circle field engineers for trouble shooting

of occurring faults.

12. Meeting with the Customer for technical support and problem resolution.

13.OMCR reports analysis studying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to find out the

problematic sectors that require attention. Optimizing the neighbor lists of each sector by

detailed analysis.

JOB PROFILE:-

Operation and maintanence of BSC,BTS equipments for TTSL

1. First line of maintanence i.e. alarm handling and fault diagnosis and rectification.

2. Integration and commissioning of new BTS & its software.

3. Rehoming of SITE in one Bsc to another Bsc.

4. Testing and Acceptance test of GPRS,SIGNALING.

5. New site Integration.

6. Administration of Base Sub Station, Base Transceiver Stations through OMCR terminal.

7. Call testing & troubleshooting of cell sites to improve SCR and KPI.

8. BSS & Transmission operation and maintenance.

9. Fault rectification and configuration(Rru addition)

10.Preventive Maintenance of all cell sites.

11.Testing and Acceptance test of BTS .

12.Checking Quality of the sites.

TECHNICAL TRANING

Attended technical traning of BSS conducted by ZTE technical trainer which includes:-

• ZTE Software & Bsc cards ZTE BSC & it’s equipments.

• ZTE BSC troubleshooting training in Jamshedpur

• About ZTE SDR BTS (8800,8900,8200) .

• About BSC Signal Flow .
