Production Scheduler 10/2000-5/2008 Findlay Products Corp. Findlay Ohio

As Production Scheduler it was my responsibility to take customer requirements through EDI and produce schedules using MRP for the entire plant. It was also my responsibility to forecast, order, release all steel materials and purchased parts needed. As well as set all material delivery appointments for incoming trucks. It was also my responsibility to maintain and manage all inventory levels and cycle counts for all products from raw materials to finished goods.

Production Control Supervisor 11/1999-9/2000 M-TEK Ohio Upper Sandusky Ohio

As Production Control Supervisor it was my position to oversee and supervise 2 schedulers and 2 material buyers. As a scheduler I would receive purchase orders from customers via EDI and from the sales department. Enter the orders into the MRP system and generate a daily production schedule for the entire plant. As a buyer it was my responsibility to create and issue purchase orders to all venders. I would work closely with engineering and our supply base to track and update design and material changes and make necessary changes as to not interrupt production needs. I was also in charge of receiving and inventory control. This consisted of supervising 12 associates in the receiving department who would receive and inventory all production material and also do cycle counts.

Production Scheduler 8/1989-11/1999 National Machinery Co. Tiffin, Ohio

1996-1999 Production Scheduler/ Machining Cell Coordinator Schedule the workflow in the CNC machining centers of the plant and coordinate with the machine setup department to ensure that all setups and tooling needed were built for scheduled jobs. I worked closely with engineering, programmers, machine operators, and all other departments to make sure all jobs were run to schedule.

1994-1996 O.D. Grinder Operator As Grinder operator I would operate two manual machines and grind cylindrical parts to very tight tolerances.

1990-1994 Presetter As presetter it was my job to build required tooling (drills, taps, mills, boring bars) and fixturing setups using detailed materials lists and blueprints.

1990-1999 Backup Dispatcher/Fork truck operator As dispatcher I would move jobs from one department to the next per the routing sheet. Also would scan production time, scan moves and locations. Insert routing changes and track part defects.
