 I was in the FFA all four years of high school and won many awards as the Secretary and Reporter for my chapter. I also was involved in my schools Youth Summit which teaches leadership and teamwork skills. I was also involved in volleyball, basketball, and school council.

College

• I attended college for only one year due to some “bumps in the road” but I look forward to going back. While in college I took classes such as English class, Algebra class, and a Microsoft Office class that showed how to use word, access, PowerPoint, and excel.

Interests and activities I plan to start college in working towards a career in Psychology. I am very interested in that field. Some of my other interests include being with family and friends, travel, and crafts. I am a very creative person and know how to put it to work. I also love to work with and around the public, being around people gives me an outlet to the community and that is my passion.

• I booked reservations, accommodated guests, and did some quick troubleshooting when I ran into problems. I also solved complaints, keep up the paperwork, and filed it. Since I worked night shift I had to do all of the “end of the day” entry for our computer system. I worked here for 8 months until the massive business loss in which I got laid off.

• I took vitals on a fixed schedule, answered the call buttons, filed out paperwork, and entered the information into the computer system. I worked here for about 6 months until college classes started and work would interfere.

I took orders, served customers, mingled with the public, cleaned, and also did a great deal of scheduling for staff, as it was a very small dinner we had many regulars. I worked here during summer break the last 4 years of high school I left for better pay.
