EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
¬¬¬¬
STALLION OILFIELD SERVICES, Houston, Texas 2006 – 2009
Safety Project Manager
• Brought company policies and procedures into compliance by designing, developing and instituting multiple EH&S Policies and Procedures. Management could then maintain their safety initiatives.
• Increased participation to 95% and decreased incident rates by 35% by providing upper management with weekly reports on EH&S compliance and incident rates which allowed management to closely monitor program progress and communicate with area supervisors on a weekly basis.
• Achieved a 90% reduction in accident reporting times by designing and implementing computer based incident reporting application which notified upper management instantly of incident occurrence, thus investigative teams were deployed to incident sites more quickly, allowing for a complete investigation to occur without evidence being displaced over time.
• Reduced down time for retraining by re-writing company safety manual. Previous manual lacked efficiency and proper regulatory guidance. The re-write consolidated multiple business unit needs into one text which rendered the ability to distribute a uniform standard, so that employees moving from one unit to another would have the same principles applied.
• Decreased costs by approximately $100,000 per year by designing IT applications to streamline manual safety programs and processes. Increased participation in these programs by 100% through this new online format, which also provided a reduction in time of reporting.
• Realized a 100% decrease in same type/scope accident recidivism by providing investigative experience to assist upper management in determining root cause and to provide regulatory guidance for all incidents, giving management the ability to create and modify existing policies, procedures and training to correct any gaps or overlooked safety issues from previous designs.
• Brought all locations (72) into compliance within a 5 month period by conducting site and facility inspections for regulatory compliance and program adherence.
• Continually improved all programs and procedures by working closely with vendors and regulatory agencies. Programs included Confined Space Entry, Hot Work Permitting, Job Safety Analysis, Behavior Based System and Accident Reporting.
• Saved time and money by reducing the need for travel by designing over 30 computer based training modules to be used in conjunction with new hire process and to serve in annual training and re training.
