SUN & Solaris Support Engineer

• Install, configure ,administration and support hardware's like Sun Desktops/Workstations, Cool Threads servers, Entry-Level servers, Midrange servers, SPARC64 VI Servers like M5000, M4000, Sun Fire E6900, Sun Fire E4900, Sun fire V890, Sun fire V480, Sun fire Sun Fire V240, T5240, Sun Blade T632,Disk arrays Sun Storage Configuration like 3310,3320,3350,6540,6140 and 2530, network arrays, tape libraries according to SUN EIS standard.

• Installing ,configuring and perform UAT the EMC Boxes like Clariion, VNXe..

• Replacing particular hardware in case of failure.

• Installing and Configuring the EMC Layer driver software such as Snapview, Mirrorview, Sancopy, Replication Manager and Navisphere Analyzer.

• Creating RAID groups, binding LUNs, creating Meta LUNs, creating Storage Groups and Registering hosts as per customer Requirements.

• Effectively collaborates with SUN and EMC backline engineer to achieve end-to-end service quality.

• Install, configure, and support software's like Solaris Operating Environment, Solaris Cluster, Red Hat Linux, windows.

• Installation of Intel based server on Linux and windows server and maintenance.

• Provide SUN Professional Service like Solaris Cluster Implementation, SAN Environment Setup, VERITAS NetBackup Implementation, Storage Configuration etc.

• Assist third party to implement the Network and Power Connection for the Data Center according to client’s requirements.

• Privet training to the customer according to project implementations like Solaris 10, Sun cluster, VERITAS Net-backup etc.

• Brocade SAN switch configuration.

• Configuration of services such as NFS and NIS.
