Assess, measure and document the performance of public safety radio systems manufactured by Harris and Motorola in preparation for 800MHz rebanding. The assessments typically included link budget, audio quality and interference analysis. Perform pre-installation site walks, select construction materials, create requests for proposals and prepare bid packages for contractor distribution. Create schedules, track project progress and generate weekly status reports. Perform site audits and create tower, shelter and circuit drawings. Schedule and manage the construction of a 6, 11 and 18 GHz Alcatel microwave systems (inside and outside plant equipment). Provide quality control and technical support. Test and analyze the performance of antennas and transmission lines. Generate graphs depicting the return loss, distance to fault, insertion loss and VSWR.
